Types of Reviews
This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.
At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.
This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.
This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

Precision repair team came within an hour or two of when I first contacted them. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and excellent at explaining the cause of the problem and the various potential solutions I could choose from. He answered my questions patiently and did NOT make any high-pressure sales pitch. And he had all the parts and equipment available to perform any service that I requested. He and his assistant made the repairs in a timely fashion. I am very glad that a company like Precision exists, and I will recommend them to any other friends who encounter problems with their garage doors, springs, cables, or openers.

Our garage door opener broke free from the ceiling mount around 8:30am with the door up. We called Precision at 9:00 and it was all fixed and usable again by 11:30am the same morning. The technician was prompt, polite and knowledgeable. Brian S. remounted the opener, explained his work and when asked, recommended and priced a new opener with no pressure to purchase (we did not purchase anything new that day). The repair cost was very reasonable and Brian even tightened the springs at no charge as they were a little loose and under a lifetime warranty. (They were installed by Precision about 2 years earlier). We have used Precision before and received the same great service. I would recommend the company to anyone in need of repairs or new products. They really do come the same day and there is a great coupon in the Yellow Pages.

George did an excellent job replacing the springs and rollers on my large, heavy garage door. He arrived at the end of a long day and labored far into the night to get the door operational. There were some adjustments that subsequently needed to be made to the door's operation and he returned and made everything perfect.

Tim was very good at diagnosing my problem.
I still have a noise in my garage door opener that I never had before. Don't like the noise because I know it shouldn't be there.
I was very surprised too that my excess grease from my installation on the garage door opener happened to be in Tim's garbage buck when I went looking for it. Tim did give it back to but but I do find that rather low of him to remove it from MY ladder and place it in his bucket.

The service person, Bill, was phenomenal. He knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. In addition, he fixed the door in about 90 minutes. Right now, it works as good as new! The price was reasonable, too; when we had our other door fixed, the price was approximately the same. This fact tells me that the company is not trying to take advantage of its customers.
