Types of Reviews
This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.
At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.
This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

service was excellent and thorough. Besides completing the necessary repairs the service technician suggested replacing the rollers with the Teflon type to improve the doors performance which I appreciated. Your yellow page advertisement states 24 hour emergency service(which I luckily didn't need) but the girl who took the call said that only applied to telephone answering.If I would have needed emergency service. I would have had to look further.

George did an excellent job replacing the springs and rollers on my large, heavy garage door. He arrived at the end of a long day and labored far into the night to get the door operational. There were some adjustments that subsequently needed to be made to the door's operation and he returned and made everything perfect.

Tim was very good at diagnosing my problem.
I still have a noise in my garage door opener that I never had before. Don't like the noise because I know it shouldn't be there.
I was very surprised too that my excess grease from my installation on the garage door opener happened to be in Tim's garbage buck when I went looking for it. Tim did give it back to but but I do find that rather low of him to remove it from MY ladder and place it in his bucket.

The service person, Bill, was phenomenal. He knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. In addition, he fixed the door in about 90 minutes. Right now, it works as good as new! The price was reasonable, too; when we had our other door fixed, the price was approximately the same. This fact tells me that the company is not trying to take advantage of its customers.

I chose you because the person that installed my garage door no longer sdoes them. I looked in the yellow pages and on the BBB and saw you had a good rating as well as a coupon. I was hoping you could come out the same day, but that didn't happen. I didn't like them trying to push so many other things, but I know that is how business works. I would have them come back if I need further work done.

The springs on my garage door failed on a Saturday afternoon. I called Precision and made an appointment for the next day (Sunday) in the morning. While replacing the springs Tim inspected all the door hardware and identified that the rollers were severely worn and potentially at risk. These were the original rollers (19 years). The replacement rollers are of higher quality and are much quieter. He also made adjustments on the door. He was thorough and efficient. I recommend Precision for garage door repairs.

When my 50-year old springs broke, I decided to replace the whole pulley,cable, spring works with something that would last a long time. I had received a coupon in the mail from Precision Doors, and they sounded serious. They responded promptly and sold me a solid system. The technician was knowledgeable, fast, and highly competent. 6 months later, the old brackets pulled off the wooden door (not part of the cable system). Although not under warranty, Precision Doors arrived the same day and replaced the parts in 30 minutes. I am very happy.

Brian Short was the tech that repaired the torsion spring, rollers, etc on our garage door. He was very personable and the most professional service tech I have had the pleasure of doing business in years. He explained everything in a way that was understandable to me and never pushed for the sale. When he came to our house for the trouble service, he was to the point, but not overbearing. When he returned to perform the work, he was again professional and efficent. He completed the job in a timely fashion. He was just outstanding in every way. We plan to purchase a new opener in the near future and will surely do so from Precision. If all your techs are as nice and professional and competent as Brian, your company will always do well.
