The good: The technician arrived here in 1/2 hour- very impressive. He was very knowledgeable, professional and informative!!. He fixed the broken cable quickly. He couldn't have been nicer or efficient. Now the bad---- when I called the office the woman on the phone said there was no record of my garage door being serviced on 6/2008!!! Fortunately, I showed my "SAVED" invoice to the technician and he agreed his service was under warranty. He apologized for the missrepresentation at the home office and said he would inform the office that this was warranty work. He took down the numbers of the two work orders that I saved from 6/2008. I hope this was an oversight and not some scam by precision garage doors to circumvent the warranty!!!! Again, in terms of the technician--YOU SHOULD GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE. He was great!!! I would recommend Precison to other people but I will tell them to save their invoices!!!!

Al, I really appreciate the response and great feedback in regard to our technician Tim! Unfortunately, Precision Door changed it's electronic filing system coincidentally in July of 2008. We apologize for that as that was just a mistake on the electronic side of things. We did in fact find your paper copy and we do see that you had the lifetime warranty. Precision Door always honors its warranties. We would also like to back up your statement you made that customers should "save their invoices." Actually, all Precision Door customers should note there is a disclaimer on the back of all invoices that states "This invoice is your receipt and must be presented before warranty work will be provided. It is not the responsibility of the Precision Door Franchisee to provide proof of warranty." So to all Precision Door customers reading this right now PLEASE SAVE YOUR INVOICES! I appreciated the quick repair especially on a Saturday. The service technician was prompt and great to deal with. The reason I ranked this four stars instead of five was the cost of the springs. Your price was three times higher than any other price I could locate on the web.

We were very pleased with the quick service we received shortly after calling to make an appointment. The serviceman noted we had a previous repair (not remembered by me) that needed remediation and checked with the office to confirm that we had received such service and were still under warranty. He fixed our garage door much to our satisfaction and it is working now much more quietly than ever in the past!

Brian arrived earlier than expected. He clearly explained the issues and suggestions for the garage door repair. He was fast, courteous, professional and made sure that the repairs worked. He took the time to correct a few other small issues that he noticed at the same time. I was extremely happy with the rapid response, the service provided and the technician.I would not hesitate to use your company again.

I was quoted a price to repair a garage door that was not working properly. Justin also suggested preventive maintenance on my other door so the same situation would not occur with this one. At a later date, he completed the agreed upon work and did so efficiently and on time. He was very pleasant to deal with and the service was exceptional. The price was higher than I had hoped to pay, but his original estimate was consistent with the actual cost.
