My garage door opener stopped working. I call Precision Garage Door Service at 11am and had an appointment at 4pm the same day. George the Tech showed up and was extremely courteous and respectful. He took the time to go through the garage door assessment and explained how everything is supposed to work, Extremely knowledgeable!! I had purchased the wrong size opener for my door height but he had what was needed at a very reasonable price. I really liked the fact they texted a picture of George and a little clip about him so I knew who I was dealing with before he showed up, I also got an e mail from the owner of the company. The whole experience was 5 stars from start to finish!! I could tell right away George knew his stuff and his professionalism was unmatched and I felt completely comfortable leaving him alone in our garage. I could also tell Dan the owner takes great pride in the training, safety and trust he has in his employees, well done Sir!! If you have any garage door needs I could not recommend Precision Garage Service more highly, great people, great service, fantastic job, super satisfied! Call them first, they are the best!!

My technician Cori Merkel was thorough and professional. Explained a number of things about my door opener etc. that I was not aware of. Showed me exactly what the issue with my door was. Fortunately it was not a major problem and she performed maintenance on the door as well. Advised me of potential problems that I may have with the door and provided quotes without high sales pressure. I have used Precision Door for a number of years and have always been happy with the service provided. I was able to get an appointment very quickly as well.

Precision operates a business the right way! It was great service from beginning to end. The operator who took my call was friendly, efficient, and got me on the schedule in just a couple of days. The technicians Timothy and his apprentice Brian are some good guys. They were on time and did a terrific job in about 30 minutes. The military discount was nice too in a world of rising prices.

One of my door openers was acting erratically when trying to close the door, i.e., sometimes it would barely start down then go back up, sometimes it would get partially closed then go right back up, etc. David Kovach called as expected and said he was ahead of schedule. He asked if it was OK to arrive earlier than the appointment time. And it was ok with us. David quickly diagnosed the problem as being with one of the door safety sensors. And as he had a Liftmaster sensor kit on his truck, I requested that he go ahead and install it. David worked quickly and efficiently. He answered all my questions as he worked and was done in no time at all. The entire process went very well from my initial calls to set up an appointment through to the final installation. It was very nice to be able to talk to knowledgeable people. I have used Precision Garage Doors twice previously last year, once to replace a broken cable on the cable/chain assembly on one opener then next to install the bottom rubber weather strips on both doors. My good experience with Precision back then lead me to call them for the current issue I was experiencing. And I am happy that I did so. The only issue I had, and it was not until after David left, was as I reviewed the paid invoice I received via email, I noticed a $20 Energy Surcharge. Prior to signing/agreeing to the $129 charge, I asked David if the $65 Service Charge was deducted and he said that it was. I did not actually see a listing of the charges. I assumed the $129 was the cost of the sensor kit itself but later as I viewed the invoice, I saw that the cost for the kit is $109. Granted, I did not specifically ask what items comprised the $129 and I even had I done so and was aware of the Energy Charge, I would have still signed the authorization to do the work. My point is that in my opinion, Precision Garage Doors should direct the people at the call centers, in addition to pointing out the promotions, should also tell the caller about the $20 charge right up front. Also, the service technicians should tell the client that the price he is quoting includes a $20 Energy Charge. Again, I take responsibility for not asking specifically what the price includes. (I should note that when David handed me the IPAD to sign, he had told me the total charge is $129 and that the $65 Service Fee was deducted. But I did not see the itemized list that shows on the invoice. I only saw the signature page). I think more clarification of this should be considered. I give PGD a 5-Star rating based not only on this service call but also on the previous service calls they made to my house. The call center(s) are easy to reach and talk to a real person. The technicians are courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient at their jobs. The entire process is very easy with PGD and I will definitely use them again in the future. One last thing... in the questions below, I note that I purchased an opener. Not true, there was no option listed for the safety sensor kit thus I made the "opener" selection.

Despite the current world situation, was able to get the service scheduled within two days of calling. Marcus arrived on time and was quickly able to repair the broken spring and get us back in operation. Everything was covered under warranty. Very happy dealing with the team again.

Builder-installed torsion bar went and needed to be replaced. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called, and Kasey clearly explained the issue and what needed to be done. He was very professional and completed the job quickly. It was an expensive repair, but necessary and the lifetime warranty helps ease the sting a bit. I got the referral for Precision from a neighbor (who had the same problem), and would recommend them to others.

Precision nailed it right on the head. I called Monday afternoon and was told someone be here between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM and that the tech would call first. Today at 11:30AM I got a call from Aaron and he said he'd be here in 30 minutes. At 11:55AM he pulled in my driveway. I explained the problem to him and after seeing what was happening, he immediately knew what was wrong. After a few adjustments he had the door working better than ever. Aaron even checked my other door to make sure it worked properly. I would definitely recommend Precision and Aaron to anyone who has door or opener problems. They really know their stuff!

They did an excellent job. We purchased 2 doors and 2 door openers. The installers called before coming and went right to work when they got here. Took them about 4 - 4 1/2 hours to do the job. I found Precision by Googling Washington County garage door repairmen. I needed the weather stripping replaced on both of my garage doors. David called in advance, arrived on time and performed the service work in a timely, courteous and professional manner. While he was here he examined both doors and made a few suggestions. He made sure that I was satisfied with his work and was on his way. No sales/repair pressure. A totally enjoyable experience. Will definitely use Precision again.
