Terrible, terrible, terrible! They charged me $475 to repair a 17 year old craftsman opener. A new comparable opener made by craftsman at Lowe’s is roughly $225. They replaced the circuit board and charged $399 for it. An entire opener with all of the necessary parts is almost 1/2 of that. I also asked about a senior citizen discount when I scheduled the appointment and was told they there was one. Not one mention of that by the representative or on the invoice. Definitely a buyer beware company. Never again for me. I posted the details of the experience on our neighborhood FB page (over 400 houses).

Precision installed my new garage door in 2022. Their service was superb and the door still looks as good as new. Earlier this week my garage door opener stopped working. Once opened, it wouldn’t close all the way and none of the key pads were working. I’m disabled and asked my neighbor to manually shut it. I immediately called Precision because of my prior great experience with them. When I called, the telephone agent had my pertinent information on her system. Initially the first available appointment was several days away, When I explained my situation, she was able to secure a same day technician visit. That afternoon, Damon Burke arrived, quickly identified the problem—an electrical cord had detached from the main unit—and made the repair. Damon completed this repair in about 15 minutes. He made sure the door was working before he left. He was very professional and friendly, and I enthusiastically recommend him if you are lucky enough to get him as your garage door technician. I also highly recommend Precision Door Service for their prompt attention to my issue.

Tim came out to check on a couple issues we had with our 20 year old garage door (which Precision installed), and took care of everything in half an hour. Can't give Reece enough starts for the emergency service needed! Called and had him at my home the same day! After inspection he went over everything as to why the issue happened and fixed it better than original. I called on a Tuesday because my opener broke. It was old (1999), so I wanted a new one. My install was the next day! That's impressive in and of itself! My installer was Damon Burke, who also had a new employee with him who he was training. Both of them were so nice, very polite, and professional. They had the job completed very quickly, and it all looks so nice. I'll be sticking with Precision for all future repairs or replacements.
