After several estimates from various garage door companies, we decided on Precision for they offered 300.00 off a double garage door and for an additional fee, a lifetime warranty, which is transferable to new home owners for a minimal fee. Precision also had a 3" brown vinyl trim that the other companies could not get. We loved the large selection of doors and style and the different window options they offered. Our one complaint is the extended length of time we had to wait for the installation. the garage door we selected is one not kept in stock and was special order and was told it will take 2 weeks to get it in. After 4 weeks and no call that the door was in, we had to call and was told by Tom, they were really busy and it will be another week or two. Called back after 2 weeks went by and no word from Precision on the status of our door and this time Tom said it was due in the following Thursday so now we are at 7 weeks. The Friday after it should have been in to Precision, called the following Monday and was told, "Oh that one came in cracked and had to go back." I asked Tom how come no communication about this and he said he would check into it. Later that day, he called and asked if the following Monday would be good for installation and of course after waiting 8 weeks, yes we were more than ready! The inconvenience of being told the garage needed to have several items moved within 2 weeks for installation and hauling items to a storage area to be ready for this and then waiting another 6 weeks was uncalled for and lack of communication to us certainly does not deserve 5 star rating. The installation by Chuck was professional and no blame to him for the extended wait. I was disappointed the crew did not clean up the mess in the garage....screws and sawdust on floor. I am self employed in home improvements and would never consider not cleaning up after a job completion. Recommend better communication between company and customer with the company initiating the communication and not the customer., especially when told 2 weeks and it goes on until 8 weeks have passed after the down payment.

Your service man - Casey, I think, came promptly to our house. He was extremely courteous, and explained exactly what had to take place for the repair. He worked quickly, and before leaving he explained what he did and demonstrated the repaired door. He is a credit to your company. I will continue to use Precision for any future door problem. I also referred my across the street neighbor to Casey. He stopped by after my repair and sold an $800 job to him.

5 stars Our service tech was very knowledgeable and fixed our door efficiently. He recommended other maintenance services and we had him do those as well and now our garage doors work better than when the house was new and quieter. Marcus was extremely friendly and this repair was as great as experience as you can probably have when needing a garage door repair. The response time was impressive especially for a Saturday.

Marcus arrived on time and quickly surveyed the work that needed to be done. He had all of the tools and materials necessary to complete the job in his van. After an initial adjustment of the first door, he recommended a longer, heavier duty cable be installed so that the pulley could travel further and more smoothly. I agreed with his suggestion and he quickly installed and adjusted the new cables. The doors have never worked better. The cost for the service was very reasonable and Marcus gave me a price on having belt-driven door openers installed. Again the price seems reasonable and I plan to have four openers installed in the near future. I highly recommend Marcus and Precision Garage Door of Pittsburgh.

again, great service (which have come to expect from your co.) was initiated Sunday night (Feb. 5th) with a call to Kay who was very pleasant and knowledgeable and offered me 2 time slots for the next day, and i chose the 1st. having dealt with your co. twice in the past i was confident in my choice. i have 2 large 9' wooden (500-600 lb) garage doors and one of them was jammed , (unable to close because the cables were broken and door could not be moved.) Steve arrived well within the appointed time with a call to let us know he was coming shortly. he went right to work and replaced both cables, re-set the spring tension & checked the cables on the other door. he stated that the other cables were fine & did not recommend replacing them at this time. Steve was personable, knowledgeable & honest. (he did not recommend any unnecessary work or parts & also waived the service call charge for being a repeat customer.)) & was done in a little over an hour. another job well done by your co. great service, great people. keep up the good work, thank you. another well earned 5 stars.
