The service technician did a great job. The pricing however was way out of line. $690 verses $385 from a competitor for the exact make and model. I was told that Precision does not price match. If you call Precision for an issue do not have them do any work prior to getting bids.

Our garage door was severely damaged, and the salesman/technician who came was light-years more helpful than the people from a handful of other companies I’ve been struggling with over the last few days. The technician showed up pretty late in the evening (backed up from other jobs) which I didn't mind. He talked me into doing more work than just replacing the torsion spring and told me that it would be under warranty if anything ever happened to it and that it would be transferrable if I sold the house (which I told him I was planning to do) - and therefore, I bought the larger scope of work. I asked for the warranty so that I could make sure I transfer it to the new owner, and he told me that the warranty would be emailed to me. I just printed the Invoice which included the warranty language which states that the warranty is not transferrable if I sell the house. I'm not happy about that and I would not have gotten the larger scope of work done had I known. The workmanship of the job he did was good and he left the place as clean as it was before he came.

I highly recommend Precision for your garage door needs i had a door that had one of the cables jump off, and they fixed me up with an appointment for the next day. Tim, the technician that came out was fabulous. He was very through in his explanation and my options, extremely professional and courteous - and was done within an hour.

I called Precision Garage Door Service to fix a door that would not longer open after slamming shut. The technician, Randy, arrived on Sunday within the 2 hour window - Precision does not up the rates on weekends. He checked the door, walked me through all that needed to be done and got right to work. He replaced the spring etc. in a little over 1 hour. He was polite and instructive and had provided me with a text photo and bio before arriving. I will call Precision and ask for Randy in the future if I need to.

I like that appointment was quick and easy to schedule. I liked the "heads up" from tech and sending photo was a great idea. Unfortunately the price was pretty high. I will get a few more estimates before I make a decision.
