The springs on my garage door failed on a Saturday afternoon. I called Precision and made an appointment for the next day (Sunday) in the morning. While replacing the springs Tim inspected all the door hardware and identified that the rollers were severely worn and potentially at risk. These were the original rollers (19 years). The replacement rollers are of higher quality and are much quieter. He also made adjustments on the door. He was thorough and efficient. I recommend Precision for garage door repairs.

Brian Short was the tech that repaired the torsion spring, rollers, etc on our garage door. He was very personable and the most professional service tech I have had the pleasure of doing business in years. He explained everything in a way that was understandable to me and never pushed for the sale. When he came to our house for the trouble service, he was to the point, but not overbearing. When he returned to perform the work, he was again professional and efficent. He completed the job in a timely fashion. He was just outstanding in every way. We plan to purchase a new opener in the near future and will surely do so from Precision. If all your techs are as nice and professional and competent as Brian, your company will always do well. When my 50-year old springs broke, I decided to replace the whole pulley,cable, spring works with something that would last a long time. I had received a coupon in the mail from Precision Doors, and they sounded serious. They responded promptly and sold me a solid system. The technician was knowledgeable, fast, and highly competent. 6 months later, the old brackets pulled off the wooden door (not part of the cable system). Although not under warranty, Precision Doors arrived the same day and replaced the parts in 30 minutes. I am very happy.

Our garage door cable snapped during Labor Day weekend, I think it was late Saturday. Again, I think we called Sunday, expecting an answering machine and wanting to leave a massage; we got a human. Someone can be at your house later today. No premium charge for Sunday or the holiday weekend. Are you kidding me? He came, did the work quite professionally, we have a 5 year warranty. Things happen when you own a home and a company like this makes it that much easier.

George showed up on time and explained to me exactly what was wrong with my current garage doors and took the time to show me why it was important not to just change out the old garage door openers, but to fix and replace my current pulleys/cables and stabilize my tracks as they were loose and causing the doors to wear out the garage door openers. We packed the cars the night before our son was to leave for college, however, when I hit the bottom the next morning so we could leave we had a major problem. The door cable snapped, the rolling pins came flying at us like torpedoes and the door began to buckle. After making a call and explaining we had to get our son to school ASAP the agent had a technicians to our home in less than 45 minutes. He got us out of the garage and showed us what needed fixed.
