I contacted Precision because one of my garage door springs and cables broke. I knew that I would need to have both springs and cables replaced. I found Precision in the Yellow Pages and noticed they have certified technicians and 24 hour emergency repair; plus they are a BBB Accredited Business. Chris Short the Certified Technician was ahead of schedule and was able to come earlier than expected (always a plus). In a short amount of time Chris was able to replace all the parts and have the garage door operating. The best part was Precision stands behind their Certified Technicians and parts with a Life Time Warranty.

Every step of the process was 5 star, but a few items stood out. First, receiving a profile on the technician prior to the appointment was great. The technician was able to diagnose the problem, provide a comprehensive quote and complete the work in a professional manner. I had all of the garage door hardware, springs, wheels replaced and the installation of a new garage door opener. Finally the technician explained the new components, operation of the new opener and maintenance requirements. Without hesitation I recommend Precision Door for all of your garage door needs.

The repairman gave me a diagnosis of the problem which was the old garage door opener gears were bad and the circuit board was shot. He also said the garage torsion springs needed replaced and he could not replace the opener without replacing the worn springs.

We had a garage door emergency 5 days before Christmas. Precision was the first company I called and they responded immediately with an exact estimate and replacement suggestions. The personnel were extremely professional, knowledgeable and caring and had both doors replaced 2 days before the holiday! The technician also corrected several issues with our garage door openers. The service was exceptional and we are extremely thrilled with the new doors. MICHAEL WAS A GREAT INSTALLER AND EXPLAINED THE DOORS OPERATION WELL. I AM A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE APPEARANCE OF THE TOP PANEL, AS THERE IS AN IMBALANCE BETWEEN THE SIZE OF THAT PANEL AND PANEL BELOW.

I chose Precision for my garage door maintenance because I used their service once before to repair a broken garage door spring several years ago. They are available nights and weekends and do quality work. Tim arrived on time and performed a 25 point safety check and general maintenance on my garage door. Tim was very knowledgeable, courteous and offered suggestions and recommendations.

I have been most happy with this company. First of all, I was able to secure a same-day appointment. On this visit, I thought we would need a replacement opener; however, the technician told me that just some simple adjustments would need to be made, and that most of them were under warranty since we were repeat customers. We had $500 worth of work done for a little over $100. I can see why they are so popular.
