A misunderstanding as to the cost when I talked to the person in the office. I thought she was quoting on two springs that I said we needed when supposedly it was on each one. Tom called the office and we finally agreed to have the work done. Tom was very personable and professional and we truly appreciated getting the work done last evening instead of today and Tom called ahead and showed up on time, putting in late hours of work.

We called Precision for the repair because we had a coupon for your service, which I'd posted next to the door opener. Timothy came on time, was extremely courteous, and seems to have repaired the problem very satisfactorily. I don't think the rating "gorgeous" really describes our garage door, but we'd give five stars on the basis mentioned above.

Marcus, the repairman, arrived before scheduled time. He inspected the work that needed to be done and informed us of the results of the inspection (what needed replaced/repaired) and let us know the cost before the job started. He was very pleasant, friendly, knowledgable and a good worker. We will definitely use Precision Door Service again and refer them to anyone.

I called a few places like Sears, Overhead Door, etc., to get some bids and timelines. Scheduling the appointment through the hotline was easy, but getting a price estimate was not. Call center person said somewhere between $75 and $175 for each spring, which would total between $150 and $350 ($200 dollar range) for both springs, plus a service call charge. I tried to get a more accurate estimate by providing the exact spring size currently on my door, and the rep responded "somewhere in the middle" which was disappointing, as it made bid comparison from other services impossible. I scheduled an appointment for a Sunday afternoon, and the technician called to say he was running and hour early, which was great! Tech explained the levels of service and pricing, $150 per spring which was more on the high-end of pricing than the "somewhere in the middle" the phone rep told me. There was also a $20 "energy surcharge" that the phone rep mentioned absolutely nothing about. Nonetheless, the tech did a quick, thorough and overall fantastic job with everything installed, tested and tightened in under an hour. I was very satisfied with the work, but the price was too high, considering a pair of springs is probably 50-60 bucks, also there were energy surcharges that the phone agent did not mention at the time of booking.

Second time I have called Precision Door Service. Wonderful service from the phone call to the service man coming to your home. Very few businesses contact the customer and keep us informed as to what is going on. I was scheduled for the next day. Customer service rep called me the next morning to confirm by appt. Then said tech would call on his way. All of this was done which means so much to a customer. Tech was absolutely wonderful. He explained my problems and showed me what needed done. He had completed replaced my entire garage door parts and it only took him 1.5 hours. I now have a lift time warranty and the work was done right the first time. Thanks you for your excellent service.

I was attracted at first by the fact that you only do garage doors. Your company turned out to be one of the most professional I've ever worked with! Everyone was very knowledgeable, on time, hard working & friendly. They managed to turn an old, ugly 1923 garage into something that looks great! I would definitely recommend Precision!

Very impressive service. I called on a Saturday evening and did not want to wait for next operator and hung the phone up. 10 minutes later the company called back to see if I called. They set up an appointment on Sunday to fix the springs on my garage door. Marcus came and did a great job and was very professional.
