We have used Precision over the years I find the workmanship of the products to be superior and the technicians are very knowledgeable and they are willing to explain the mechanics so I can understand how the components work. If something should break, I will know how to explain what the issue is. And for something as simple as a battery change, I now know how to access the keypad outside and the handheld button device to change a battery myself and possibly avoid a service call. The technician did check the bolts in the hinges and changed out a few of them and also went over all items to see if anything else was out of whack. I am very impressed with Precision. Cori Merkel is an awesome technician.

I love my new garage door. It fits tightly, the lock works great, and the tech did a wonderful job on the tracks. My wife just couldn't lift the old wooden door anymore, the new one is lightweight and slides easily. Five stars for a great experience.

Recently I observed that my Precision installed garage door was allowing cold air to leak into my garage. I found that cold air was leaking into the garage from the top of the door through the seal. I scheduled an appointment to have the door inspected and see why this was happening, after all, the new garage door I had installed a few years (2017) back was supposed to have sealed off the elements from the outside as well as seal in the air when the air conditioner was on in the summer. The technician arrived, inspected the door and informed me that their was a one inch gap at the top of the door and the frame of the garage door and that nothing could be done to fix the gap. He suggested that I go and purchase and install foam board insulation to seal off the top of the garage door to stop the airflow. After thinking about this for the past week or so I came to a disappointing conclusion, the garage door that I had purchased and had installed was not done so correctly. Think about this! Would anybody be satisfied with settling for something less than the value that was promised? I was not afraid to pay good money for good product and good service, otherwise I could have had anybody do the work. I had many contractors give me estimates for the door installation and chose who I thought would do the best job, not the cheapest! I think I am being fair on my assessment, after all, I paid $1569.00 for my garage door on May 15, 2017 and waited patiently several weeks afterward for my door to be installed.
