Carlo Zanetti was our technician for 2 service calls to upgrade our garage door opener bar for belt drive. Carlo was professional and knowledgeable regarding what needed done. He called prior to coming to our home and arrived at the time he said he would. We had a contractor install our garage doors on a new garage and it was not done correctly. Carlo identified the issues and fixed everything that needed done, to make sure our garage doors were running smoothly. He went above and beyond at both appointments and was easy to talk to and explained everything he did. If and when I need garage door service in the future I would definitely call Precision and I will request Carlo be our technician in the future as well. I would recommend Precision and Carlo in the future to friends and family.

My garage doors are 20+ years old and it shows. I have owned the house for almost 7 years and have kept them operating with minimal work (I once replaced the plastic/nylon gear) although they definitely don't run smoothly (very shaky/jerky when opening and closing). Recently, my remote opener stopped working. I received a promotional postcard in the mail so I decided to have somebody take a look. I also requested a tune-up while the technician was checking the remote/opener. Carlo visited last night and was fantastic. He called out some issues and concerns across the board (which were somewhat plentiful since the doors and openers are so old). At first, I was concerned with being oversold or talked in to more repairs than I wanted or needed. However, Carlo provided three tiers of service (minimal, basic and maximum updates). After discussing further with him, we came to an agreement that fixed my remote, replaced a clearly bad pulley and tuned up some other areas. I'm happy to report that both my garage doors are working fully and much smoother than they have since I've owned the house. And, this was all done with open and transparent communication and some explanation and negotiation from both sides. Because of Carlos collaborative approach and willingness to understand my goals and intent (rather than being salesy/pushy), I felt comfortable that I got the right service from the right company. This goes a LOOONG way toward customer service and Precision being my choice for future service or door/opener needs. Thank you very much for your service and approach to customer service!

After several estimates from various garage door companies, we decided on Precision for they offered 300.00 off a double garage door and for an additional fee, a lifetime warranty, which is transferable to new home owners for a minimal fee. Precision also had a 3" brown vinyl trim that the other companies could not get. We loved the large selection of doors and style and the different window options they offered. Our one complaint is the extended length of time we had to wait for the installation. the garage door we selected is one not kept in stock and was special order and was told it will take 2 weeks to get it in. After 4 weeks and no call that the door was in, we had to call and was told by Tom, they were really busy and it will be another week or two. Called back after 2 weeks went by and no word from Precision on the status of our door and this time Tom said it was due in the following Thursday so now we are at 7 weeks. The Friday after it should have been in to Precision, called the following Monday and was told, "Oh that one came in cracked and had to go back." I asked Tom how come no communication about this and he said he would check into it. Later that day, he called and asked if the following Monday would be good for installation and of course after waiting 8 weeks, yes we were more than ready! The inconvenience of being told the garage needed to have several items moved within 2 weeks for installation and hauling items to a storage area to be ready for this and then waiting another 6 weeks was uncalled for and lack of communication to us certainly does not deserve 5 star rating. The installation by Chuck was professional and no blame to him for the extended wait. I was disappointed the crew did not clean up the mess in the garage....screws and sawdust on floor. I am self employed in home improvements and would never consider not cleaning up after a job completion. Recommend better communication between company and customer with the company initiating the communication and not the customer., especially when told 2 weeks and it goes on until 8 weeks have passed after the down payment.

He also checked to make sure the garage door opener was working properly. He explained everything he did and made sure I was satisfied. I would recommend Precision to anyone.
