I have lived in the Akron, Ohio area all my life. I come from a large family and am the eldest of five siblings. I graduated from Firestone High School and spent 2 years in the United States Army, specializing in transportation. I have been with Precision Garage Doors for 6 years now. When I'm not working, I enjoy fishing, golfing and spending time with family and friends. I have a lovely wife of 6 years, our daughter, four dogs, a cat, and our parrot. We are avid animal lovers.

Hi Dan, I was very pleased with Jim Todd as my tech. It's great that you have their pictures posted. I found you in the yellow pages. What caught my eye was repair of springs and cables. Your front desk person was able to have Jim come out that very day. He assessed the door, gave me the costs and went to work. I am very impressed with everything Jim managed to do. Hey Dan, Jim and, I think, Brian, worked well together. They answered all my questions and worked quite efficiently. I was reluctant to invest another $769 this month due to other heavy bills, but you do what you have to do. Apparently the guide wires broke on the right side of the spring loaded garage support and the other side wires were frayed. The new system is smooth and works like a charm. I like the Precision guarantee and 'hope we don't have to do any business' in the future--ha! ha! Anyway, thanks and it was a pleasure doing business with you folks. Dick Baron

Every step of the process was 5 star, but a few items stood out. First, receiving a profile on the technician prior to the appointment was great. The technician was able to diagnose the problem, provide a comprehensive quote and complete the work in a professional manner. I had all of the garage door hardware, springs, wheels replaced and the installation of a new garage door opener. Finally the technician explained the new components, operation of the new opener and maintenance requirements. Without hesitation I recommend Precision Door for all of your garage door needs.

The repairman gave me a diagnosis of the problem which was the old garage door opener gears were bad and the circuit board was shot. He also said the garage torsion springs needed replaced and he could not replace the opener without replacing the worn springs.

We were very pleased with the quick service we received shortly after calling to make an appointment. The serviceman noted we had a previous repair (not remembered by me) that needed remediation and checked with the office to confirm that we had received such service and were still under warranty. He fixed our garage door much to our satisfaction and it is working now much more quietly than ever in the past!

Our technician was from Ohio, I think. He was excellent! Extremely informative, polite, and and got the job done perfectly. I also asked him about installing a lock on the outside of one of our garage doors for the times the electricity would go off. He was so generous with his knowledge and so helpful in showing me how to unlock the garage door. I was very happy that it turned out that he worked on our garage remote and door problems and I would be very pleased by his servicing our garage doors again and I would highly recommend him.
