To Whom it may concern, I have no way of contacting my salesmen, Michael Cercone, to discuss his quote, questions concerning what I have chosen, and does he carry any door samples in his car that could give me an idea of the garage door texture? I made the mistake of driving from Cranberry to the Imperial facility on Saturday morning thinking it was open. I had discussed this with Michael when he told me that I could see most doors at the facility. I asked about Saturday hours, and he said that would be fine. He gave me a business card but there is no direct contact number on the card for himself, which I find rather interesting. I contacted Precision Doors because my neighbor was pleased with your work. I need some assistance in this matter, or I will shop elsewhere. I was very appreciative of the two workers that gave me information and made some phione calls to both Michael Cercone and Tom, assistant manager at Precision. Regards, Ron Lapiska 724-513-1841

The installer Kasey was very nice and efficient. However leading up to his arrival was not a good experience from what I thought was a reputable company. My initial email said he would arrive between 9 and 11 am. 11 rolled around and nothing. Called the #given and pretty much got a run around. Waited 1 more hour and called again with the same results. I would of thought customer service should of been alot better. I understand things happen but I feel I should of been notified about any changes and not have a snooty person on the other end give me no answers.

Eloisa, we do apologize for the confusion with your installation arrival time. That morning, we unexpectedly had one of our Installers call out for the day. We did our best to try to rearrange the schedule so that we did not have to cancel your installation and reschedule it to a different day. We are sorry that we did not make you aware of the change to your arrival time, as that was an error on our part that was overlooked with the confusion and urgency of trying to make several schedule changes. We do apologize and we are glad to hear that your door was able to be installed on the day it was scheduled. We hope you enjoy your new door for many years to come.

Excellent service and workmanship but pricey. I paid over $100 for a piece of a single piece of 8 foot door trim. That is overpriced. The same product for a 9 foot piece of white trim is $10. Plus there was a service charge on top of this. 4 pieces of trim $460. That is overpriced.

No service was actually done. Something was blocking the sensor at the bottom of the door and no repair was necessary. I was disappointed that I was not told to check that area before a tech was sent out and I was charge the $65 service charge for the 10 minutes the tech was here. I felt that this could have been corrected over the phone.

Hello Denise, I understand your frustration, however; we can’t diagnose the problem before we do our safety inspection. If we misdiagnose, which is likely to happen having not looked at it ourselves, we would then be liable for any issues you have moving forward. It is our responsibility to ensure your issues have been resolved properly and accurately.

My garage door spring broke and precision replaced it. Now the door pops loose of the opener when I try to open it

Randy, the technician, did a wonderful and neat job and was very thorough in his inspection. The cost of $185 per tension spring seems very excessive. Next time I will phone for another estimate rather than calling Precision for any services.

Your Team gets a 10. They were on time, efficient and professional. Your pricing was grossly over priced. I went on line and priced out the material and unless your techs are being paid over $150.00 an hour the cost was double of what they should have been. I believe in paying for professional service but $500.00 for 4 cables and 4 hinges is over the top. Would not recommend due to price.

Quite difficult to schedule. Very expensive for 30 minutes of work. Additional fees were BS

First, the service tech, Aaron Marks deserves 5 Stars because he did a great job answering all my questions and replacing the torsion springs. The reason for my overall 2 Star rating was the cost of replacing the springs. $300 dollars to replace $50 dollar springs. A $250 dollar markup! Plus I was charged a $20 fuel surcharge which they never mentioned prior to arriving at my residence. They wanted to also charge me a $65 service charge which at my insistence was waved only if I decided to have them perform the spring replacement work. Again, an outrageous price for 2 springs that are $25 a piece. It took the tech 1 hour to complete the work. So I paid a $250/hour labor rate !!!! I do not expect to see this rating on this site simply because all the ratings at Precisions site are all 5 Stars. I will check to see if my rating is posted!

It's really unbelievable how much was charged for a very simple spring repair. It looks like the job was done correctly, although I now have to re-adjust the openers to get correct travel from the doors. If the technician had spent as much time on the actual work as he did on trying to sell me everything that I really didn't need, my portion of the job (opener adjustment) may have been eliminated. I will never use this service again.

I'm giving 2 stars because it took them 2 1/2 weeks to let me know they couldn't perform the job unless my driveway was fixed. It's freezing outside, time is a pretty big factor. I really do appreciate the honesty which is a big reason I tried to be patient, but that answer should have been given to me on day one. Either tell me you can do the job or let me know you can't so I can get on with things and look else where.

Tim was very good at diagnosing my problem. I still have a noise in my garage door opener that I never had before. Don't like the noise because I know it shouldn't be there. I was very surprised too that my excess grease from my installation on the garage door opener happened to be in Tim's garbage buck when I went looking for it. Tim did give it back to but but I do find that rather low of him to remove it from MY ladder and place it in his bucket.

I had spoke with Mark about this issue and it was about the small vial of grease that was a one time application when we installed the gear kit.
Chuck missed the 2 hour window by 40 minutes; I would think with today's technology he could have texted that he would be late. He offered no reason for being late. For me, he appeared to be going through the motions. He did not tell me one thing about the products, but basically told me what I would get based on the ideas I had. He told me nothing about the installation process. He did ask if I had any questions, but he seemed to think I knew enough to know what questions I needed to ask. I had to ask him about the electrical outlet I had and if it would present a problem; when he looked over my situation initially, that was something he did not notice. I had another vendor give me an estimate and he spent time showing me the product, explained what was available based on what I wanted and had some suggestions for the installation process and, he mentioned the possible issue with the outlet. Essentially, I had the distinct impression Chuck was simply going through the motions. I was singularly unimpressed. I do not care if this review is posted as my intent is to give Precision my impression of my experience with Chuck. My experience with the other vendor was exactly the opposite and I expected something similar from Precision.
