Two comments: -$20 energy surcharge + service call fee - gas a lowest price in two years. Should be part of service fee. -My second spring was not broken but I agreed to replace unit - cost for second spring should be reduced because torsion bar and end pulley had to be removed to replace broken spring.

I called a few places like Sears, Overhead Door, etc., to get some bids and timelines. Scheduling the appointment through the hotline was easy, but getting a price estimate was not. Call center person said somewhere between $75 and $175 for each spring, which would total between $150 and $350 ($200 dollar range) for both springs, plus a service call charge. I tried to get a more accurate estimate by providing the exact spring size currently on my door, and the rep responded "somewhere in the middle" which was disappointing, as it made bid comparison from other services impossible. I scheduled an appointment for a Sunday afternoon, and the technician called to say he was running and hour early, which was great! Tech explained the levels of service and pricing, $150 per spring which was more on the high-end of pricing than the "somewhere in the middle" the phone rep told me. There was also a $20 "energy surcharge" that the phone rep mentioned absolutely nothing about. Nonetheless, the tech did a quick, thorough and overall fantastic job with everything installed, tested and tightened in under an hour. I was very satisfied with the work, but the price was too high, considering a pair of springs is probably 50-60 bucks, also there were energy surcharges that the phone agent did not mention at the time of booking.

Marcus phoned and said he would be late getting to us. He arrived later than the 2 - 4 stated by the customer rep. Marcus explained what was covered by the call out then went ahead and adjusted and lubricated both doors. Checked them over before leaving. Great job.

Excellent response from operator at customer support center. Gave me several appointment time options. Al Holst, the technician, was on-time and professional. Final cost turned out to be higher than first quoted, but Mr. Holst apologized for the confusion.

I found Precision when I searched Google for a repair I needed on my garage. I was pleasantly surprised at all of the good, recent comments they had posted on their website so I gave them a call. The operator was very professional & accommodating with my appointment. And when the technician arrived on time he was also very professional. He was able to repair my garage that day, which was appreciated.

The service man was very courteous and called to give me a heads up when he would arrive. While on site, he was professional and it appears that he did an excellent job. He offered other services they could provide, bit did not push beyond my first " no thank you". In my case, they were able to come out the next day, even when I called on a Sunday. I did not give five stars be/c precision was about 20-30% more expensive then local servicemen. I don' t know their quality, though, since I used precision.

These doors were purchased as a surprise for my husband, and everyone at Precision cooperated fully to make sure he didn't find out. The doors were installed as promised and they look wonderful. I would rate 4 and a half stars, only because the installer was a little late for the appointment, and consequently was not finished in time when my husband returned home. The installer was courteous, and cleaned up well afterwards. We were pleased with the whole experience.
