Great service and expert technician! I needed service as my Spring broke. I called after hours and was immediately scheduled for the next day. George the technician was prompt, and showed me exactly what the problem was, and gave me the option of repair or replacement. Because of the age of the unit and previous issues with remotes, I opted for replacement. Unfortunately, George didn't realize that he would need to shorten the track for the replacement unit to fit until he had already removed the old unit, which would cost me an extra $100. He did offer to use the new motor in the old housing at a considerably lower cost, so I will still give 4 stars. Ultimately I chose to pay the additional $100 for the additional labor (at least an hour) and am very happy with the end product!

Recently I observed that my Precision installed garage door was allowing cold air to leak into my garage. I found that cold air was leaking into the garage from the top of the door through the seal. I scheduled an appointment to have the door inspected and see why this was happening, after all, the new garage door I had installed a few years (2017) back was supposed to have sealed off the elements from the outside as well as seal in the air when the air conditioner was on in the summer. The technician arrived, inspected the door and informed me that their was a one inch gap at the top of the door and the frame of the garage door and that nothing could be done to fix the gap. He suggested that I go and purchase and install foam board insulation to seal off the top of the garage door to stop the airflow. After thinking about this for the past week or so I came to a disappointing conclusion, the garage door that I had purchased and had installed was not done so correctly. Think about this! Would anybody be satisfied with settling for something less than the value that was promised? I was not afraid to pay good money for good product and good service, otherwise I could have had anybody do the work. I had many contractors give me estimates for the door installation and chose who I thought would do the best job, not the cheapest! I think I am being fair on my assessment, after all, I paid $1569.00 for my garage door on May 15, 2017 and waited patiently several weeks afterward for my door to be installed.

The spring on one of our garage doors (a double size door) broke and the door was not usable. I called another company first that we had used many years ago and a recording said to leave a message and someone would call me back. After 2 days with no response we researched other possible companies to fix our door and found great reviews for Precision Door. We called them on a Friday evening and someone answered immediately and scheduled us for service on Saturday afternoon. I was notified by the service technician before he came that he was enroute and when he would arrive and was provided a photo and name of the technician before he arrived. He was very professional and promptly assessed the door and fixed it. He also checked the door over thoroughly as well as our other garage door which was functioning to make sure they were both in optimal working order. In a little over 12 hours from our call for assistance the door was fixed. Four days after the door was repaired the first company I called finally called me back to find out what I needed (this was 6 days after my call to them). If we ever have another problem with a garage door Precision Door Service will be our first call.
